SIF-SoNS Prize “Neutrons Matter” 2019

DSC_0307The School of Neutron Scattering “Francesco Paolo Ricci” (SoNS) is glad to announce that Dr. Alice Manna is the winner of the second edition of the joint SIF-SoNS “Neutrons Matter” 2019 prize, “For the significant measurements of neutron-induced cross sections of energies greater than 200 MeV, produced at spallation sources, and for the use of innovative techniques and their applications to the study of fission reactions at high energies”.

The prize was received today, September 23th, from Prof.ssa Luisa Cifarelli,  president of the Italian Physical Society (SIF), and Prof. Roberto Senesi, president of the School of Neutron Scattering “Francesco Paolo Ricci”, during the opening ceremony of the 105th Annual National Congress of the Italian Physical Society (SIF) held L’Aquila.
